Assist Business IT Ltd have been offering IT Support in the Dorset, Hants and Wilts region since 2008. Our managed IT Support Packages are our most popular service, taking the place of a traditional company IT department for our clients.

For our fully managed IT services we cover an area within approx. 1 hours drive of our offices in Ringwood and Salisbury. This more limited client area allows us to provide our guaranteed emergency support when you need it. On-Site Visits

We aim to keep your costs down by reducing the number of on-site visits to your premises. We do this by using our pro-active monitoring software to catch issues before they affect your staff and to assist your staff remotely when needed.

Our Monitor & Protect Package includes 1 hour on-site each month, we do our best to ensure that this is used effectively and will often bundle non urgent tasks together in this hour in order to save your company money.

Pro-Active Monitoring

We include monitoring software for each of your supported machines as part of our Monitor and Protect package. This software allows us to remote connect to your machines, not only to offer real-time assistance to your employees but also to enable us to run updates, upgrades and essential maintenance without the need for costly on-site visits. This software also allow us to test hardware and maintain security 24/7 giving you piece of mind.

***1st hour free each month refers to scheduled, non emergency site visits during normal working hours. The one hour free can be split in up to 2 visits.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    On agreement of a final quotation, an IT Support Contract and a Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be drawn up. The SLA and Contract work in conjunction to ensure that our clients know exactly what they can expect from Assist. Our clients have the opportunity to discuss any element of the contract or SLA with the Client Account Manager and we can arrange for you to view samples of these documents prior to going ahead.

    On Evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays, we offer an out of hours support service, this is intended for Urgent or Emergency use. If you have a non-urgent issue out of hours, we ask that you email this over to be dealt with the following working day. If you have an urgent issue, we ask that you telephone and leave a message, we will call you back asap.

    Our support package is intended for whole network coverage. We advise that all devices and machines which you intend to connect to the network are first agreed with your Primary Engineer. Having an unsupported machine on your network can put the security of your server, computers, files and business data at risk.

    The Cloud Backup Service which we provide is intended as a secondary backup of your main, on site backup, it is not intended to replace an on-site backup. Your on-site backup works in a different way and is more easily accessible within your network.

    Financially, outsourcing can save you money on payroll taxes, staff training, holiday pay, holiday cover and sick pay.
